COM 117: Multimedia Storytelling is a required introductory class that teaches ALL Newhouse undergraduate freshmen or transfer students (Advertising, Broadcast and Digital Journalism, Graphic Design, Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism, Photography, Public Relations, Television-Radio-Film) how to tell multimedia stories using cutting edge digital equipment and software.
During the semester, students work on three projects: a persuasive/PSA website with embedded video, a non-fiction/documentary short and a fiction short.
This class blog is a place for us to share projects, ideas, links and blog on professional storytellers who visit Syracuse University and the Newhouse School in Spring 2011.
