A couple weeks ago, I visited ” With Love” restaurant, which is located at North Salina street in Syracuse, NY. I met with Adam, who is the owner of the restaurant. He briefly introduced me the concept of the restaurant and three lines of how this restaurant is running. People who work in this restaurant are all students of the “with love” program.
The first line is the waiters/waitresses line. They would learn manners such as hospitality, control of emotion, etc. in the restaurant for a short period of time. Then, they would be sent out to fine restaurants to work.
The second line is the cook line. The cooks here are trained from several months to a year depending on when they reach the pass line. When they are proficient with their cooking skills, they also will be sent out to fine restaurants to work.
The third line is the entrepreneur line. Students in this restaurant can choose to become an entrepreneur. Venus is the current entrepreneur resident in this restaurant. She is taking charge of the menu for 6 months. The cuisine changes every six months, and the menu changes every two months.
The restaurant is very cozy and nicely furnished. Venus fed me some food back in the kitchen, and it tasted so good. Come and visit “With Love”, and you will have a new experience!
